YAMUPY is a work in progress project exploring the expansion of music by using technology to create immersive and interactive expériences.

"Now, people listen to music with their eyes." 

I heard this sentence in a documentary that I watched while flying back to Paris. A few days before, I had been in Boston, tweaking a software I had developed for an interactive installation asking myself what my next move would be. 

So I paused the documentary, and start to imagine a place where you can hear music but see it drawn on the walls simultaneously. Every musical note would be like a brushstroke on a canvas, and every concert is a new exhibition driven by musical improvisation. 

It's like giving the music the capacity to express itself via other mediums. More than just a technical challenge, it's an opportunity to explore new audiovisual storytelling. 

Since this day, this idea is etched in my mind and guides all my experiments today.
